Renowned as one of the Three Great Gardens of Japan, Kenroku-en garden in Kanazawa is a place of special scenic beauty. While the garden's tasteful landscape featuring seasonal displays always feasts the eyes of visitors, the most typical sight on a cold winter's day is yukiduri, which protects trees from Kanazawa's heavy snow from November each year. What's more, in the last part of January, the Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenroku-en Garden are illuminated at night for visitors for a limited time. Join us for winter fun and enjoy fantastic views of illuminated trees dressed in yukiduri.

Time and place of the illumination: Friday, January 31 through Sunday, February 9, 2014. 5:30 am to 9 pm
Admission: Free during the duration of illumination
*Kenroku-en garden is located approximately one hour by car from Kyukamura NOTO-CHIRIHAMA.
