By rail
1. From JR Kii-Katsuura station, pick up bus service is available. Pick-up bus waits for the guests at the backside of the JR station. Getting out of the station, get over the railway to the other side, and go down the pedestrian bridge. About a 20-minute bus ride.
2. From JR Ugui station, pick up bus service is available. About a 7-minute bus ride.
*Please reserve both pick-up buses in advance.
After getting off at JR Kii-Katsuura Station, you will find the exit on your left. Go out the exit and turn left the corner. Continue straight, cross the bridge across railroads and go down the stairs until you see the shuttle bus.
By car
1. From Hanwa Expressway, Nanki-Tanabe IC, via Route 42, it is about 110 km.
2. From Kisei Expressway, Kisei-Ouchiyama IC, via R42, it is about 107km.
By air
From Kansai International Airport
Take JR Kansai airport line to Hinone station (10min. ride).
From Hinone station, take JR Kisyuji rapid service to Wakayama station (30min. ride).
From Wakayama station, take JR express train "Kuroshio" to Kushimoto station (130min. ride).
From Kushimoto station, take JR Kii line to Kii-Katsuura station or Ugui station.
Pick-up bus service is available from both station (reservation required).
From Shirahama Airport
Take a local bus to JR Shirahama station (20min. ride).
From JR Shirahama station, take JR Kii line to Kii-Katsuura station or Ugui station.
