In 2014 the Nanki Kumano area has been registered as a geopark. In recognition of this title, Kyukamura Nanki-Katsura offers the “Geo Bowl”, which is inspired by the characteristic terrain of the geopark, as a lunch menu. Plentiful delicacies of the area are used for this rare lunch dish: young sardines, the famous Nanki tuna, squid representing the whitewater of the Nachi Falls, noble scallops representing the fossils, hot spring eggs standing for the grace of the hot springs etc. A menu created especially for you to embrace the taste and vision of Nanki. Moreover, because we really want you to get to know all the joys of the Nanki Kumano Geopark, we give you 50% discount on our hot spring after your Geo Bowl lunch.
(The Geo Bowl is available for 1000 Yen (incl. tax) and is limited to 50 dishes per day. Please reserve at least one day ahead.)

The Kyukamura Nanki-Katsura restaurant is open for lunch every day from 11:30am to 1pm.
