5月の下田が一年でいちばん輝く——そう断言したくなるほど特別な3日間が「黒船祭」です。
街中に潮風が香り、太鼓の音が響き、色鮮やかなパレードが通りを埋め尽くす瞬間、まるで時代を越えて幕末の下田にタイムスリップしたような感覚に包まれます。

黒船来航の歴史を背景にした厳かな式典から、アメリカ海軍の参加する国際色豊かなパレード、夜空を染める花火まで、どの瞬間も“ここでしか味わえない特別”がぎゅっと詰まっています。
港町ならではの開放感と、歴史の重み、そしてお祭りの高揚感が混ざり合う空気は、一度体験すると忘れられません。

さらに、下田の街は歩くだけで楽しい。白壁の町並み、海辺の風、そして屋台の香り。写真を撮りたくなるスポットがそこかしこにあって、気づけばシャッターを切る手が止まらなくなります。

When the scent of the sea breeze fills the air, the sound of taiko drums echoes through the streets, and a vibrant parade fills the streets, you’ll feel as if you’ve traveled back in time to Shimoda during the Bakumatsu period.
From the solemn ceremonies set against the backdrop of the Black Ships’ arrival, to the international parade featuring the U.S. Navy, and the fireworks lighting up the night sky, every moment is packed with a “special experience you can only find here.”
The atmosphere—a blend of the open-air feel unique to a port town, the weight of history, and the exhilaration of the festival—is unforgettable once you’ve experienced it.
What’s more, simply walking through the streets of Shimoda is a joy in itself. The white-walled streets, the sea breeze, and the aroma wafting from the food stalls—there are photo opportunities everywhere, and before you know it, you won’t be able to stop snapping pictures.

アクセス：　伊豆急下田駅から徒歩圏内で主要会場へアクセス可能
　　　　　　車の場合は臨時駐車場あり（混雑に注意してください）

Access: Major venues are within walking distance of Izukyu-Shimoda Station.
