It's getting warmer in Miyako(Iwate prefecture).
That means it's the perfect time for hiking!!

So...in this blog, I will introduce the access from Kyukamura Rikuchu Miyako to "Earthquake Memorial Park Nakanohama" while walking along the Michinoku Coastal Trail.

I hope this blog will be of some help when you are walking around Kyukamura Rikuchu Miyako.

Michinoku Coastal Trail

Start from Kyukamura!

The starting point of the trail is the parking lot (ocean side) of Kyukamura Rikuchu Miyako.
After exiting the hotel lobby, turn right and walk around 1/4 of the way around the parking lot until you see this sign.
You can also go to "Anegasaki Observatory" in about 8 minutes on foot!

Follow along while referring to the map signs at the starting point and junction, as well as the Michinoku Shiokaze Trail design stakes dotted along the course.
You can feel refreshed by the sunlight filtering through the leaves, the scent of the forest, and the chirping of birds.
