ぜひ修復工事が再開する前に！「国宝羽黒山五重塔」

『令和の大修復』とは？？？

羽黒山五重塔の杮葺き屋根が20年前の前回工事後から風雨で腐食が進んだため「令和の大修復」で、令和5年(2023年)5月上旬～令和6年(2024年)9月30日(月)まで屋根改修工事を行います。
工事期間中は、足場や幕などにより五重塔を見ることができなくなっております。

2024年は5月13日(月)～9月30日(月)が工事期間です。
※残雪の影響で日程が前後する可能性があります。

林の中や、石段の端に残雪はありますが、参道に雪はありませんので、スニーカーでも見学いただけます。

From early May 2023 to September 30th, the roof of the five-storied pagoda at Mt. Haguro is scheduled to be repaired. During this period, scaffolding will be installed and the five-storied pagoda will be covered with curtains.
This year is a rare opportunity to see the full view of the five-storied pagoda before its renovation, so please consider visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to protect and hand down important cultural properties in good condition.
*The scaffolding is removed during the winter season, so you can see it.
In 2024, the construction period will be from May 13th to September 30th.
*Schedule may change due to remaining snow.
