本日は、みちのく潮風トレイルについてご紹介いたします。（What is Michinoku Coastal Trail?）

『みちのく潮風トレイル』は、青森県八戸市から福島県相馬市までの太平洋沿岸をつなぐロングトレイルです（約1,000㎞）。その最大の魅力は、海の景観をダイナミックに感じるスポットの豊富さ。日本一美しい断崖やリアス海岸ならではの風景、恵み豊かな世界三大漁場など見どころが目白押しです。自然が織りなす圧倒的な美しさのなかを、潮風にゆられながら進み、忘れられない感動を味わってください。（The Michinoku Coastal Trail is a long-distance trail stretching approximately 1000 kilometers along the Pacific coast, from Hachinohe City in Aomori Prefecture to Soma City in Fukushima Prefecture. It’s greatest charm lies in the abundance of breathtaking spots where you can fully experience dynamic coastal scenery. From Japan’s most beautiful cliffs to the unique rias coastline, and one of the world’s three richest fishing grounds, the trail is filled with highlights. As you walk through the overwhelming beauty of nature, swayed by the sea breeze, you'll encounter unforgettable moments of inspiration.）

Trail town MIYAKOとは？（What is Trail town MIYAKO）

宮古市では「ハイカーが集う町づくり」を目指し、市民で盛り上げる取り組みとして〈Trail town MIYAKO〉を掲げています。
　歩いている時、地元の人から声をかけられる嬉しくなり、ちょっとした交流が旅の思い出になります。（Miyako City is promoting the concept of Trail Town MIYAKO as a community-led initiative aimed at creating a town that welcomes and brings together hikers.Encounters along the trail—such as a kind word from a local resident—can leave a lasting impression, turning small moments of interaction into cherished memories of the journey.）
 

ハイカーにやさしい町を目指して（Aiming to Be a Welcoming Town for Hikers）

「トレイルオアシス」とは、“ハイカーにやさしいお店（施設）”として、みちのく潮風トレイルを歩くハイカーに対しておもてなしを自主的に行う宮古市内のトレイル沿線近辺に所在する店舗や施設などのことです。（A Trail Oasis refers to shops or facilities located along or near the Michinoku Coastal Trail within Miyako City that voluntarily provide hospitality and support to hikers.These establishments are recognized as “hiker-friendly” places, offering a warm welcome to those walking the trail.）

トレイルオアシス店舗が“トレイルオアシス・オリジナルタペストリー”や“オリジナル・ウインドウステッカー”を掲示することで、「ハイカーにやさしいお店」を可視化させながら、ハイカーを地域ぐるみで歓迎する取り組みです。（As part of a community-wide effort to welcome hikers, Trail Oasis shops display the original Trail Oasis tapestry and original window sticker, making it easy to identify them as “hiker-friendly” establishments.This initiative helps create a visible network of support for hikers throughout the region.）
