いつも休暇村奥武蔵のスタッフブログをご覧いただきまして、誠にありがとうございます。
今回のブログはログハウスのご紹介をいたします。ログハウスって何? って言う方はたくさんいらっしゃると思います。

ログハウスとは、丸太を伐採し、組み上げて造られた家のことです。 ログハウスを英語で書くと「Log House」となり、「Log」は丸太のことです。英語圏では、「Log home」や「Log cabin」とも呼ばれています。因みに、木を伐採することは「Logging」と言います。

休暇村奥武蔵ではログハウスの戸数が3つございます。コテージ名称はかわ、そら、やまです。棟内は全て禁煙となります。
木の温もりを感じるログハウスには、ダイニング・キッチン・ソファ・テラスもあり、ご家族やご友人とのんびりとお寛ぎ頂けます。もちろんシャワールーム・トイレ・洗面台もあり安心してご宿泊いただけます。ログハウスご宿泊のお客様も本館の大浴場がご利用いただけて充実した時間を過ごすことができます。

ホテルから徒歩約60秒の休暇村敷地内にあるログハウスは、全室貸切利用＆独立棟なので、友達や家族とわいわい騒いでも問題ありません。存分にプライベートの時間を楽しんでください。
３棟あるうちの２棟（６名用：そら、７名用：かわ）は、ワンちゃんのみ宿泊可です。ただし、１頭／3千円の料金がかかります。

In today’s post, we would like to introduce our Log Houses. Some of you might be wondering, “What exactly is a log house?”

A log house is a type of home built by stacking and assembling logs cut from trees. The term “log house” comes from the English word “log,” which means a tree trunk. In English-speaking countries, these homes are often called “log homes” or “log cabins.”
At Kyukamura Okumusashi , we have three log houses available: Kawa (River), Sora (Sky), and Yama (Mountain). All of them are non-smoking.

These cozy cabins let you enjoy the warmth and comfort of natural wood. Each log house features a dining area, kitchen, sofa, and terrace, providing a relaxing space where you can spend quality time with your family and friends. They are also equipped with a shower room, toilet, and wash basin, so you can stay comfortably during your visit. Guests staying in the log houses are also welcome to use the large public bath in the main building, making your stay even more enjoyable.

The log houses are located about a one-minute walk from the hotel, within the Kyukamura grounds. Since each one is a private, standalone cabin reserved exclusively for your group, you can relax and have fun with your family or friends without worrying about disturbing others. Among the three cabins, Sora and Kawa are pet-friendly. You are welcome to bring your dog for an additional fee of ¥3,000 per dog.
