Hello everyone!
I would like to introduce one of the most beautiful waterfalls "The Shiraito Falls"which means 'White Thread Falls'in japanese.
It is located in southwestern foothills of Mt.Fuji and about 10minutes drive from Kyukamura Fuji. It is 150m wide and 20m long just like its name.

 

It is said that its water comes from snow of Mt.Fuji which is so unique and beautiful.
The atmosphere is so clean and refreshing. You can see the peak of Mt. fuji on a clear and sunny day if you are lucky.
 


On the other side of Shiraito falls, you can see Otodome falls. It is louder and carries more force compared to Shiraito falls.

 

Even though it is always beautiful to visit, the best time would be in Summer when the green Foliage is at its fullest, and in Autumn when the leaves changes.

There are various paid parkings around which is convenient for lots of visitors at a time.

Whenever you come here, i suggest everyone to try Fujinomiya Yakisoba which is famous dish here.
