花巻市にある「宮沢賢治童話村」は、宮沢賢治の童話の世界を感じながら、自然の中で楽しく学ぶことができる場所です。銀河ステーションや妖精の小径、天空の広場など、物語の世界へ入り込んだような雰囲気を楽しめます。

そして夏から秋にかけて開催される「童話村の森ライトアップ」では、森の中に幻想的な光のオブジェが広がり、昼間とは違った美しい景色に出会うことができます。
特に、ご家族でのお出かけにおすすめのスポットです。色とりどりに輝く光のオブジェや森の中の道を歩きながら、お子さまたちもまるで童話の世界に入り込んだような気分で楽しめます。家族みんなで写真を撮ったり、光を眺めたりしながら、素敵な思い出を作ることができます。
2026年は「宮沢賢治生誕130年」を記念して、7月18日から10月31日まで開催。9月のライトアップは17時から21時、10月は16時から20時までで、入場は無料です。

From summer through autumn, the “Dowa Mura Forest Light-up” transforms the forest with fantastical illuminated objects, creating a beautiful atmosphere that is quite different from the daytime scenery.
It is especially enjoyable for families. As children walk along the forest paths surrounded by colorful lights and glowing objects, they can feel as though they have stepped into a fairy-tale world. Families can take photos together, enjoy the beautiful lights, and create wonderful memories.
In 2026, the event celebrates the 130th anniversary of Miyazawa Kenji’s birth and is held from July 18 to October 31. In September, the light-up runs from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and in October from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free.
During the day, enjoy the natural surroundings and the world of Kenji’s stories; at night, experience the forest surrounded by fantastic lights.
