Cherry blossoms along the Kannonji River🌸

The day before yesterday, on Monday, April 21st, I went to see how the cherry blossoms along Kannonji River had bloomed!
It's about a 30-minute drive from Kyukamura Urabandai. When I got close, I saw a parking lot sign, so I was able to get there without getting lost.

As you can see in this photo, the flowers were only about 50% in bloom...
But there was one cherry tree that was in full bloom, and many people were taking photos of it.

Additionally, yesterday,April 22nd, I went to see the cherry blossoms light up.
I thought，"It seems like the cherry blossoms are blooming a lot more than yesterday." so I went closer, and to my surprise, even though only a day had passed, there were many more cherry blossoms that were close to full bloom!

It's a fantastic view that is different from the daytime, so if you have time, I recommend waiting a few hours and then going back to see it♪

According to Weathernews' flowering information, it is expected to be in full bloom on April 27th!

～Footbath Cafe ~CASVAL～

This time, we would like to introduce CASVAL, a foot bath cafe located in Tsuchiyu Onsen Town, Fukushima City.

The cafe is located about a 50-minute drive from Kyukamura Urabandai.

This is a rare cafe where you can dine while soaking your feet in a natural hot spring footbath!!!

In addition to seats by the window where you can enjoy the footbath, the cafe also has sofa seats and low tables, giving it a homey atmosphere.

The menu has a wide variety of drinks and rice dishes, and they even have pancakes!!!

This time I had pancakes and butter chicken curry.

Both were delicious.

The temperature of the foot bath is also pleasant, perfect for relieving the fatigue of your travels.

If you have the opportunity to go to Tsuchiyu Onsen town, be sure to stop by!!!!

Let's try mountain stream fishing in Urabandai！

There are many rivers in Urabandai where you can enjoy mountain stream fishing.
The recreational fishing season runs from April 1st to September 30th, and you can catch char and yamame trout.

This char was caught by a staff member who loves mountain stream fishing. It was caught in Kitakata, but it would have been great to catch something this big.

Melting snow is still flowing in Urabandai, so please be careful when fishing in each area.

We've seen bear droppings this year, so wear a bear bell and always keep safety in mind!!
