Thank you for visiting Kyukamura Urabandai's web log.
The other day, I went to see Miharu Takizakura.
It's the best time to see it.
Takizakura, which is counted as one of Japan's three major cherry blossoms, is the first cherry tree to be designated as a national natural monument on October 12, 1919.
During the blooming period, countless small pale pink flowers bloom from the branches that extend in all directions, and it is said that the cherry blossoms came to be called ``takizakura'' because they look exactly like cascading waterfalls.
Also, Takizakura will be illuminated from 6pm to 9pm. The illuminated Takizakura at night are very fantastic, so it is recommended!
location 296 Takiza Sakurakubo, Miharu-cho, Tamura-gun, Fukushima Prefecture
