以前もブログ等でご案内させていただいた、『国宝羽黒山五重塔』杮葺き屋根改修工事の概要と現状の様子についてお知らせいたします。

羽黒山五重塔の杮葺き屋根が20年前の前回工事後から風雨で腐食が進んだため、令和5年(2023年)5月上旬～令和7年(2025年)春頃まで屋根改修工事を行います。
上記の期間は工事の足場や幕などにより五重塔を見ることができなくなります。

2023年は5月8日(月)～11月30日(木)が工事期間です。
※2024年の工事日程は未定です。

From early May 2023 to around the spring of 2025, the roof of the five-storied pagoda at Mt. Haguro is scheduled to be repaired. During this period, scaffolding will be installed and the five-storied pagoda will be covered with curtains.
This year is a rare opportunity to see the full view of the five-storied pagoda before its renovation, so please consider visiting. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in order to protect and hand down important cultural properties in good condition.

In 2023, the construction period will be from May 8th (Monday) to November 30th (Thursday).
※The construction schedule for 2024 is undecided.
