今回、南伊豆にある「三島神社」に行ってきました。大きな木に囲まれた静かな神社で、入り口には立派な鳥居があり、境内に入ると昔ながらの日本の雰囲気を感じることができます。石灯籠鵜や古い建物などあり、とても落ち着いた場所でした。

This time,I visted Mishima Shrine in Minami-Izu.It is quiet shrine surrounded by large trees . At the entrance,there is a beautiful traditional torii gate,and inside the shrine grounds,you can feel　 the atmosphere of old japan.There are also stone laterns and traditional wooden buildings, making it a very peaceful place.

三島神社には、静岡県指定の天然記念物になっている「クスノキ」があります。このクスノキは、樹齢１０００年以上とも言われており、とても大きく、長い年月を生きてきたことが感じられました。
神社の歴史は古く、平安時代の初めごろに創建されたと伝えられています。

One of the most special things about Mishima Shrine is its huge Camphor Tree ( Kusu-no-ki),which is designated as a Natural Monument by Shizuoka Prefecture.The tree is believed to be more than 1000 years old ,and its enormous size make it easy to imagine how long it has a long history and is said to have been established around the beginning of the Heian period.

今回訪れて、自然の中で日本の歴史や文化を感じることができました。大きなクスノキや昔ながらの神社の景色がとても印象的でした。南伊豆で静かな場所を訪れたい方や、神社、日本の歴史、自然が好きな方におすすめしたいスポットです。

Visiting this shrine was a wonderful experience because I could feel japanese history and culture while surrounded by nature. The huge Camphor Tree and traditional shrine scenery were especially impressive. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Minami-Izu who enjoys shrines,japanese history,traditional culture and peaceful natural surroundings.
